Great Quote on Mediocrity and Excellence
On the Feb. 16th Oprah show (last Friday), Michael Beckwith said something that prompted an “a-ha” moment in many people. A women essentially asked how she should deal with people who seemed to be jealous of her and her success.
Michael Beckwith looked her in the eye and said, “Mediocrity always attacks excellence.”
So true!

My father always told it to me this way… “Jealousy is the tribute that Mediocrity pays to Genius”… same gist… great quote either way.

It’s awesome that I found this quote. I was at a training seminar today with Gerry Tchir, author of “Dare to be Great”, and he said the same quote.
I loved it and had to come home and search it.
